Event Date & Cost

• Crop: September 3-7th, 2026  Labor Day Weekend

• Event Fee: $225 per person (5 days)

• Available spots: 40

• Registration opens: April 25th, 2026 at 9 PM 

• Deadline : August 17th, 2026

• Location: The Venue: A Gathering Place 2225 West Beebe Capps   Searcy, AR 72143 (handicap accessible)

• T-shirt available to purchases separately.  Will send out an email with pictures and information the closer we get.

Registration Details & Tips

• Choose from two options – pay full amount or pay the $100 deposit (non-refundable)

• Form of payment are Debit or Credit Cards 

• Please note if you would like to sit in a group and list the names

What is Included?

• Table Space:

  • Everyone will have a 6-foot space and folding chair.  (You may want to bring a chair cushion)

  • Seats will be assigned prior to arrival.  We will try to seat groups together.

• Meals:

  • Friday, Saturday and Sunday dinner. (Please note that while certain allergies/dietary restrictions will not be able to be accommodated, you may need to plan accordingly)

• Access to Electricity /WIFI/Tools             

  • Electricity will be available to all cropping tables

  • Free WIFI

• Arrival Gifts

  • Swag Gift

  • A plethora of “goodie bag” items

  • Lanyard with your name

• Door Prizes

  • There will be numerous door prizes

• Activities

  • Two page layout contest with prize

  • Instructed Classes – Please register so that we can get a count.

• Photo Booth

  • We will have a photo area set up so that you can capture all the photos you want

• Scrap Yard Sale Tables

  • We will be having a Scrap Yard Sales.  It is a craft related garage sale where things have been brought and sold are paper, embellishments, ink pads, markers, tools, etc. So, if you have something in your craft space that you are not using any more and are collecting dust, then brush it off and put a price on it.  It can be a used pack of paper of sticker or half a spool of ribbon.  Please make sure to put your name or initials on the a sticker as we might have a couple Amanda’s, Linda’s, etc.  This is an honor system.  You are free to shop during the retreat but make sure that the seller receives the money if you are purchasing something.  If you are having a hard time finding the person that is selling the item, please see us and we can help you locate them.

  • There will also be a Free table for anything that you would like to donate.

  • Buyers and sellers, make sure to bring change and small bills.

• Drinks and Snacks

  • Non-alcoholic drinks only

  • We will provide all day Ice Water, Iced Tea & Coffee

  • We will also provide all day fruit, snacks, etc.

Waiting List

• In the event of a sellout, a waiting list will be started on a first come, first serve basis.  To be added to the waiting list, just email happyscrappyretreatsinsearcyark@yahoo.com with the subject line “Waiting List”

• If there is a cancellation, we will notify you via email and you will have 24 hours to respond before we move to the next name on the list.

• If you accept the spot, payment must be made within 24 hours.

Event Hours & Logistics

• Check In

  • Check In will start at 2 PM on Thursday Sept 3rd, 2026

• Crop Room Hours

  • Thursday 2 PM-Midnight

  •  Friday 9 AM-Midnight

  •  Saturday 9 AM-Midnight

  •  Sunday 9 AM – Midnight

  • Monday 9 AM - 2 PM

• Loading/unloading crop supplies

  • There will be dollies, carts and wagons available for use

  • Venue is handicap accessible.

• Parking

  • There is plenty of parking in front of Venue

• Room set up

  • Based on your group or individual situation, we will try to accommodate seating arrangements.

• Massage therapist will be available for chair massages.  She will have a sign up list with prices available at a later date

• Hotel Accommodations

  • You will have to make your own hotel arrangements and transportation to and from

  • We will provide a list of hotels and rates

• Temperatures & Room Comfort

  • It is hard to regulate the temperature in a big room for so many people. If you run hot, dress in layers so you can take some off and potentially bring a fan.  If you run cold, then dress in layers also.  Temperatures will be mid to upper 70’s with lows in the 60’s

  • Some people are sensitive to fragrances.  While we can’t expect that everyone will be fragrance-free during the event, this is something to think about, since we will be in closed quarters for an extended period of time.

  • Because of sensitivity, absolutely no misting or diffusing of essential oils is allowed in the crop room.

  • Please be courteous to the people around you when talking on the phone or Facetime.  Use earbuds

  • No audible music or videos unless using earbuds

 

• Crop Room Security

  • The Venue will be locked from Midnight till 9 AM each night/day.  Your supplies and belongings can be left in the room overnight.  Happy Scrappy Retreats is not responsible for any items that are lost, stolen, or damaged during the event.

• Babies, Families and other visitors 

  • You will be given an event lanyard which will be your access to the meal buffets.

  • The Crop room is reserved for those who have paid to attend. If you have visitors during the event, please arrange to meet them in the front lobby.

  • Attends must be 18 years or older, no children please.  This will cause a distraction to others.

Cancellation Policy

• $100 deposit (non-refundable)

• Cancel by August 17, 2026, you will be refunded $125

• Cancel by August 24 or later and you will not be refunded

• If you have a personal issue and need to cancel after August 17, 2026, please email to explain and we will try to work with you depending on the event.
